Laura redesigned my mother's wedding gown. I stressed out over the day of bringing the dress to her for the first time but her brilliant fashion mind and vision for the dress made things so easy for me. She always made me feel welcome and that I could say anything or ask anything to ensure my dress was perfect for the big day. It WAS perfect and I received so many compliments on my dress. Plus, it meant the world to be able to wear my mother's dress in my own way.

Also, conveniently, I got my veil, earrings, and garter all from the boutique which were super cute :)

Laura and crew are just wonderful. Laura created a dream dress for me last year for my wedding, and since have passed her name on to every bride I know. Two of the weddings I photographed this year had dream dresses created by Laura. I'm in the wedding industry, and I can say that she puts her whole heart into her business, and her customer service is outstanding. I was drawn to a Bride's Design because of their unique offerings & ability to purchase a one-of-a-kind handmade gown. Laura and her staff are welcoming and kind, and the shop is charming - a beautiful (and peaceful) environment in which to select "the dress." Laura was wonderful to work with throughout the entire process, and helped me craft an entire look for my big day - including a 40's style fishnet veil, crystal tiara, and vintage handkerchief to be my "something blue." I would recommend ABD to ANYONE looking for the perfect (and unique) dress for their big day.

This place rocks! Laura and her crew made this part of wedding planning such a fun and enjoyable experience. I was sad picking up my dress because I loved coming in! What My dress was absolutely stunning and the lace detail was exquisite. I was able to get all the pieces that I dreamed of at the shop, even down to antique embroidered hankies for my Mom and Aunt. Laura has provided wedding dresses for my sister, best friends, and now myself. I love that her shop is a small locally owned store and you can tell she really prides herself in her one of a kind work she does. Living in Charlotte, North Carolina you can imagine my anxiety with purchasing a wedding dress out of town. Laura made sure to stay in contact with me, and even stayed till 10:30 pm the night before my wedding to do one last and final fitting with me.
